Obituary:

Darrell W. Brooks, Sr., age 44, of Dallas, Texas, passed away February 13, 2010. Darrell was born May 20, 1965, in Dallas, Texas, to A.J. Jones and Sylvia Stevenson. He married Maria Ysabel Ayala on April 11, 1996, in Dallas, Texas. Darrell was a Cisco engineer and worked in the I.T. industry. He was of the Buddhist faith. He is survived by his wife, Maria Ysabel Brooks of Brownsville, Texas; sons, Darrell Brooks, Jr., Darrell Brooks, II, and Darrius Brooks all of Dallas, Texas; mother, Sylvia Stevenson of Thornton, Colorado; brother, Steven Washington of Grand Prairie, Texas; sister, Mia Pabon of Carrollton, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his adopted mother, Harriette Lillian Clarke and aunt, Mable Rainbolt.
